Young Asian Reporters (YAR) network is part of Asian Media Information and Communication Centre’s (AMIC’s) youth wing, which was launched as a follow up of the 2nd ASEAN Media Forum held in Bangkok 2010. This is an online portal for young communicators to share news and develop their journalistic skills. It is partnered with NAM News Network (NNN) coordinated by Malaysia’s Bernama News Agency and United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP). This platform is essentially useful for all those students who are aspiring to be part of the global media. It will provide them with a holistic education and a fantastic opportunity for those who aspire greater avenues to develop a career in international journalism.

This network aims at motivating students to contribute news stories and have it disseminated to a global audience by a reputed news agency.
