2006: Next Round of Grants

Thank you for your interest in the PAN Asia ICT R&D Grants Programme. Please be informed that the programme is currently in the midst of a learning exercise and will not be awarding any grants during the current calendar year (2006). Funding will resume next year. Further information pertaining to this programme will be made available on this web site after 1 January 2007. Past grants awarded can be viewed by country or by date.

Targeted to encourage original and innovative networking solutions to specific development problems, the PAN Asia ICT R&D Grants Programme awards two levels of grants: grants up to a maximum of US$9,000 for a project period not exceeding 12 months; and grants up to a maximum of US$30,000 for a project period not exceeding 24 months.

The current partners and supporting organisations for the programme are the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada, the United Nations Development Programme's Asia-Pacific Development Information Programme (UNDP-APDIP), the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) and the Asian Media Information and
Communication Centre (AMIC).
