Pan-Asia ICT R&D Grants Programme

2007: Grants Update

Thank you for your interest in the PAN Asia ICT R&D Grants Programme.

The R&D programme is currently undergoing a review and learning exercise and will not be awarding any new grants in the short term.

We will be making the announcement for new funding in the coming months. We invite you to continue visiting our site for new round of R&D funding. Information on past grants is available and can be viewed by country or by date.

Targeted to encourage original and innovative networking solutions to specific development problems, the PAN Asia ICT R&D Grants Programme awards two levels of grants: grants up to a maximum of US$9,000 for a project period not exceeding 12 months; and grants up to a maximum of US$30,000 for a project period not exceeding 24 months.

The current partners and supporting organisations for the programme are the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada, the United Nations Development Programme's Asia-Pacific Development Information Programme (UNDP-APDIP), the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) and the Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC).
